CURVE (THE NEW PLUS SIZE)

Who says you can't transition the catwalk to the workplace? I've taken some of the seasons hottest looks and translated them into strong workwear apparel for both business casual and business formal. From shocking pinks and reds to bold geometric patterns to yellow ensembles and even leather culottes, here are my top picks for April.

Catwalk Trend 1: Shocking Pink.

Pow Pow. It's a stunning color and looks good on just about everyone. If you spot a pencil skirt in shocking pink, ping me, I'm looking for it.

Catwalk Trend 2: Yellow.

Bright yellow is gorgeous, but can create eye fatigue if it's too much, so I opt for yellows that are either minimal, lighter, or carry more brown in them. They also transition well in between seasons and are timeless wardrobe essentials.

Catwalk Trend 3: Bold, geometric patterns.

So here's the deal, strong workwear apparel often showcases strong prints, stripes, and patterns. You'll know a strong print when you see it (as well as a weak one -- hint: pastel flowers). Here are some of my favorites.
